Picture this. You’ve invited six of your girlfriends and a bevy of St. Louis’ finest entrepreneurs to network during a weekend of wonderfulness. The stage is set. The familiar achy feeling and congestion is beginning, and you are starting to get tired.

That is just what I was beginning to feel this past weekend during an event I was hosting. A month of planning went into this soiree, and BOOM. I am suddenly under the weather.
When you are the hostess, there are No Sick Days allowed. You’ve got to power through it all and be there for your guests. People are counting on you.
Thankfully, as a Vicks Ambassador, I had my tools on deck and I began to work on it as soon as I felt the symptoms coming on. I had to prep everything the night before the event, so I used NyQuil (and promptly fell asleep in my office working). The morning of, I took DayQuil Severe to help me power through so I could be the hostess with the mostess.
The next day, I woke up refreshed and feeling better, and was able to work my magic for the event. Over twenty people were in attendance! Everyone was pleased with the location and networking opportunities.
